What are Bollards?
Bollards are short poles or posts that can be made from a variety of materials, that work as traffic barriers, directional tools, stability, and support devices and boundary markers. These can be put in place to protect assets, such as placed near shopfronts to prohibit vehicle access or restrict access to certain locations such as parks and open spaces. They can also be put in place to mark out and allocate car spaces. Specific U shaped bollards can be installed as a foot traffic directional tool, work as bicycle stands, and provide stability handrails. They can be permanently installed or set up to be temporary/removable with options to put up, and take down as required. Fixed Surface Mount Bollards
- Designed for traffic control situations or property and asset protection.
- Manufactured from heavy wall mild steel tube with fully welded base plates, these bollards are able to take the hard knocks.
- Suitable for installation into any concrete surface.
- Available in round or square designs.
- All our bollards are supplied complete with necessary fixings and are available in a hot dip galvanised finish or hot dip galvanised with a powder coat finish.
U-Bars
- Wide range of applications including handrails, bike storage, pedestrian chicanes at crossing points and impact protection barriers to name a few.
- Manufactured from 3mm wall steel pipe 48mm in diameter and hot dip galvanised as standard.
- Available in either surface mount or below ground models in square or round styles.
- All models stand 800mm high. The below ground models can be set deeper into their concrete footings to achieve a lower profile if required.
- Powder coating or reflective bands available as an option if required. Ideal for schools, shopping centres, walkways or warehouses.
